JOSHUA WING, SON OF EBENEZER WING & ELIZABETH BACKHOUSE Joshua Wing (Ebenezer Wing, Stephen Wing, Rev. John, Matthew), born September 9, 1706 at Sandwich, the Old Fort House. According to Dr. Conway Wing, Joshua eventually moved to Harwich (Brewster) where he died on December 14, 1790 at the age of 84. Joshua married Mary Hoxie (his second cousin, once removed) on November 8, 1744 at Sandwich. Mary Hoxie was born November 20, 1722 at Sandwich, the daughter of Solomon Hoxie and Elizabeth Wing. Mary Hoxie died November 17, 1810 at the age of 87 at Sandwich, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts. Joshua Wing and Mary Hoxie had the following children: 1. Sarah Wing, born July 23, 1745 2. Joseph Wing, born July 25, 1748 at Sandwich. 3. Elizabeth Wing, born October 25, 1751 4. Presbury Wing, born June 26, 1754
