DEBORAH WING DAUGHTER OF JOHN WING AND MARY PERRY Deborah Wing (John Wing, Stephen Wing, Rev. John, Matthew) born August 21, 1686 at Sandwich, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts. Deborah married Samuel Barker on November 22, 1711 at Sandwich, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts. The marriage was solemnized before William Bassett, Justice of Peach at Sandwich. Samuel was born September 5, 1667 at Duxburrow, Plymouth Colony, Massachusetts, the son of Isaac Barker and Judith Prence. At the time of their marriage, Samuel was a bricklayer in Duxbury, but he later moved and claimed his residence as Sandwich by the year 1715. There is also records that Samuel was a constable in Duxbury as early as 1693. Both the Hoxie manuscripts and Dr. Conway Wing state that Samuel's mother, Judith Prence was the daughter of Governor Thomas Prence. Deborah Wing and Samuel Barker had the following children: 1. Judah Barker, born January 12, 1711 at Duxborough, Plymouth, Massachusetts, died young at Sandwich, Barnstable, Massachusetts at around the age of 7. 2. Deborah Barker, born October 6, 1712 at Sandwich. Deborah died January 30, 1792 at the age of 79. She married Jonathan Burnell. |
