BENJAMIN GIFFORD
SON OF SARAH WING AND ROBERT GIFFORD

Benjamin Gifford (Sarah Wing, Stephen Wing, Rev. John, Matthew) born about 1685 at Dartmouth. Benjamin died between March 6, 1754 and May 7, 1752 at the approximate age of 68. Benjamin married Sarah Tomkins about 1709. Sarah was born about 1689 at Little Compton, Bristol Co., Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Tomkins and Elizabeth Allen. Benjamin Gifford and Sarah Tomkins had the following children: 1. Hannah Gifford, born May 8, 1710. 2. Experience Gifford, born August 21, 1715 at Dartmouth. She married Joseph Brownell on March 6, 1755 at Dartmouth. 3. John Gifford, born January 10, 1717/18 4. Meribah Gifford, born June 30, 1722 5. Rest Gifford, born December 10, 1727 at Dartmouth, married Job Wood on January 16, 1752.
