Levina West

Lavina West (Jane Wing, Joseph Wing, John Wing, Rev. John Wing, Matthew Wing) married Thomas Negus on July 27, 1748 at Shrewsbury, Monmouth Co., New Jersey. Thomas was born May 18, 1718 in New Fairfield, Connecticut to Isaac Negus and Hannah Unknown. Thomas Negus died April 12, 1754 at the age of 35.

Lavinia West and Thomas Negus had the following children:

1.. Shaidlock Negus was born in Shrewsbury, Monmouth Co., New Jersey on November 20, 1749. Shaidlock died June 4, 1806 in Bristol Township, Buck Co., Pennsylvania at the age of 56. He married Sarah Smith on November 10, 1774. Sarah was born April 29, 1751 to Thomas Smith and Rebecca Shreve. Sarah died October 13, 1821 in Hawley, Franklin Massachusetts at the age of 70.

2.. John Negus was born in Shrewsbury, Monmouth Co., New Jersey on July 13, 1753. John Died in March of 1823 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., Pennsylvania, at 69 years of age. He married Mary Shreve on February 16, 1779.
