Mary & Hannah Parslow and Their Families

Mary Parslow (Susannah, John, Rev. John, Matthew) married Amos Elemas in Harwich (formerly Yarmouth) on April 11, 1718. They were married by Nathll Stone. There is probably a family link between Amos and Moses Elimas, an Indian of Harwich who is mentioned in the History of Harwich, pgs 112 & 447 and John Elimas, an Indian who was a servant to Paul Sears of Harwich and a soldier from May 14, 1725 to July 14, 1725. Hannah Parslow, (Susannah, John, Rev. John, Matthew) married Nathaniel Snow in Harwich (formerly Yarmouth), Massachusetts in 1715. Hannah Parslow and Nathaniel Snow had 5 known children: 1. Abner Snow, born January 20, 1715/16 at Eastham, Massachusetts. Not much more is known of Abner Snow at this time except that he was married twice. He married Elizabeth Cole in Eastham, Barnstable, Massachusetts on January 20, 1738. His second marriage was to Rebecca Cook, who he married on July 29, 1741 at Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts. 2. Joseph Snow was born Oct. 11, 1718. 3. Hannah Snow was born in Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts on May 3, 1720. 4. Solomon Snow was born July 19, 1725. 5. Sarah Snow was born May 30, 1729 Joseph Snow (Hannah Parslow, Susannah Wing, John Wing, Rev. John Wing, Matthew) married Thankful Cole on October 11, 1741 at Eastham, Barnstable, Massachusetts. They were married by Joseph Doane, Justice of the Peace. Thankful Cole was the daughter of John Cole and Mary Rogers. Thankful was born at Eastham,Barnstable Co., Massachusetts on October 19, 1716. Joseph Snow and Thankful Cole had 2 known children: 1. Joseph (Jr.) Snow, born May 13, 1743. It is believed that Joseph (Jr.) Snow possibly married Sarah Hamblen. 2. Susannah Snow, born 1753. Susannah married Samuel Smith, May 4, 1771. Hannah Snow (Hannah Parslow, Susannah Wing, John Wing, Rev. John Wing, Matthew) married Jonathan Webber in Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts on August 31, 1749 by Mr. Isaiah Lues, Minister. Their marriage was entered into the records by Thomas Knowles, Town Clerk. Solomon Snow (Hannah Parslow, Susannah Wing, John Wing, Rev. John Wing, Matthew) married Lydia Ryder on October 3, 1751. They were married by Mr. Isaiah Lues, Minister. Their marriage was recorded by Mr. Thomas Knowles, Town Clerk. Although we do not know who Lydia's parents were at this time, we do know that she born about 1732...and that she died March 24, 1816 at 83 years of age. She was buried at Duck Creek Cemetery in Wellfleet, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts. We do not have a date of death for Solomon Snow. Solomon Snow and Lydia Ryder had 6 known children: 1. Susannah Snow (Solomon Snow, Hannah Parslow, Susannah Wing, John Wing, Rev. John, Matthew) was born in Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts on February 20, 1752. 2. Thankful Snow (Solomon Snow, Hannah Parslow, Susannah Wing, John Wing, Rev. John, Matthew) was born in Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts on January 3, 1756. She married Unknown Rich. 3. Joseph Snow (Solomon Snow, Hannah Parslow, Susannah Wing, John Wing, Rev. John, Matthew) was born in Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts on January 3, 1758. 4. Hannah Snow (Solomon Snow, Hannah Parslow, Susannah Wing, John Wing, Rev. John, Matthew) was born in Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts on Dec. 6, 1759. 5. Lydia Snow (Solomon Snow, Hannah Parslow, Susannah Wing, John Wing, Rev. John, Matthew) was born in Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts in December of 1761. 6. Abner Snow was born 1765. Sarah Snow (Hannah Parslow, Susannah Wing, John Wing, Rev. John Wing, Matthew Wing) married Sylvanus Arey in Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts on February 21, 1750/51. They wee married by Mr. Isaiah Lues, Minister. Their marriage was recorded by Thomas Knowles, Town Clerk. Sylvanus Arey was born in Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts, February 27, 1726. Sarah Snow and Sylvanus Arey had the following children: 1. Sylvanus Arey (Sarah Snow, Hannah Parslow, Susannah Wing, John Wing, Rev. John Wing, Matthew Wing) was born at Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts on July 5, 1754. 2. Lydia Arey (Sarah Snow, Hannah Parslow, Susannah Wing, John Wing, Rev. John Wing, Matthew Wing) was born at Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts on April 24, 1757. 3. Nathaniel Arey (Sarah Snow, Hannah Parslow, Susannah Wing, John Wing, Rev. John Wing, Matthew Wing) was born in Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts on October 26, 1759. 4. Thankful Arey (Sarah Snow, Hannah Parslow, Susannah Wing, John Wing, Rev. John Wing, Matthew Wing) was born at Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts on December 25, 1761.
