Samuel Wing married Dorothy Clifton on January 3, 1720/21 at Rochester, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts. Dorothy Clifton was born on March 25, 1699 at Rochester, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts, the daughter of Savory Clifton and Dorothy Burgess. Samuel Wing died intestate, his widow, Dorothy Wing was appointed administrator on December 26, 1733. Inventory; real estate, £380; personal property, £232, 13s. The record of the family of Samuel and Dorothy was written on p. 91 of Book 2 of Sandwich, MA VRs. Unfortunately this page has been lost. The index to book 2 states that the first child was born in 1721. Samuel Wing and Dorothy Clifton had the following children: 1. Samuel Wing, born about 1721 at Sandwich. Samuel married twice, his first wife is unknown at this time. His second wife was Elizabeth Barker who he married on June 2, 1756 at Sandwich, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts. 2.
