STEPHEN WING
SON OF JOHN WING AND MARTHA SPOONER

Stephen Wing (John Wing, Daniel Wing, Rev. John, Matthew) born September 5, 1684 at Sippican, Plymouth Colony, Massachusetts. Stephen died January 29, 1749/50 at Rochester, Plymouth Colony, Massachusetts at the age of 65. He married Margaret Clifton on February 2, 1730/31 at Rochester. (Stephen's cousin, Samuel Wing, son of Daniel Wing Jr. married Margaret Clifton's sister, Dorothy Clifton) (Butler Wing, son of Elisha Wing, grandson of Stephen Wing and Sarah Briggs married the other sister, Barsheba Clifton) Margaret was born November 3, 1695 at Rochester, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts, the daughter of Savory Clifton and Dorothy Burgess. Margaret died after June 4, 1766 at Rochester at about the age of 70. Stephen Wing and Margaret Clifton had the following children: 1. Elizabeth Wing, born December 8, 1731 at Rochester. Elizabeth married Henry Hedley on June 4, 1766. Henry was born about 1725, the son of John Hedley and wife unknown. Henry died August 29, 1793 at the age of 68. 2. Mary Wing, born February 22, 1733. Mary married Samuel Tripp.
