Sylvanus was a tailor in Hanover, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts where one record states that he died on November 6, 1778 Sylvanus Wing and Hannah Unknown had the following children: 1. Bachelor Wing, born July 10, 1730/31. 2. Isaiah Wing, born May of 1733 at Hanover, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts, died December 18, 1821 at the age of 88. 3. Sylvanus Wing, born about 1735. 4. Thomas (Captain) Wing, born May of 1737. 5. Ruth Wing, date of birth uncertain, died 1840, rumored to be 102 years of age at the time of her death. 6. Hannah Wing, 1738/39, died April 30, 1834 at the age of 95. 7. Mercy Wing, born 1743 at Hanover, died November 7, 1815 at the age of 72. 8. Elijah Wing born about 1749
