Wing Spooner married Deborah Church on March 9, 1728/29 at Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Massachusetts. Deborah was born January 12, 1707, the daughter of Charles Church and Mary Pope. Deborah was listed as a member of the First Baptiast Church in Newport, Newport, Rhode Island , September 27, 1739. "David Seaver of Newport, house carpenter, vs. Thomas Coggeshall of Middletown, yeoman, for £ 18 for non performance of a promise. Writ dated May 7, 1745. Summons issued to James Tew of Newport, house carpenter, Leonard Lockman, Esq., William Lawton, house carpenter, and Nicholas Brown, yeoman, all of Middletown, and Wing Spooner of Newport, house carpenter."
