JUDAH WING SON OF ELISHA WING AND MEHITABLE BUTLER Judah Wing (Elisha Wing, Stephen Wing, Rev. John, Matthew), born in Rochester, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts about 1692. The Owl records have placed Judah's birth about 1700, but other Wing researchers think that it is more likely that Judah was the first born child of Elisha and Mehitable. While I myself have no idea when Judah was born I have placed him as the first child primarily because I do not know his date of birth and I agree that it is unlikely that Jedidiah, who was the first recorded birth was necessarily the first born since Jedidiah was born eight years after the marriage of Elisha and Mehitable. We are certain that Judah had at least one child; Zebulon Wing. Although we do not know who Judah was married to...at least not at this point. Elisha Wing referred to his grandson, Zebulon in his will. Judah was dead by June of 1752 when his father, Elisha, made his will. We also do not know if Judah had any more children other than Zebulon. The one reference that is believed to be an actual reference to Judah Wing, son of Elisha Wing is when he witnessed the will of Jeremiah Kelly of Yarmouth. Jeremiah's son Seth Kelly (O'Kelly) married Mehitable Wing, sister of Judah. Judah and wife unknown had the following child: 1. Zebulon, born about 1730.
