MEHITABLE WING DAUGHTER OF ELISHA WING AND MEHITABLE BUTLER Mehitable Wing (Elisha Wing, Stephen Wing, Rev. John, Matthew), born August 4, 1705 at Rochester. Mehitable died February 3, 1767 at Rochester, Massachusetts at the age of 61. Mehitable married Seth O'Kelly on November 2, 1726 at Yarmouth, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts. Seth was born July of 1700 at Yarmouth, the son of Jeremiah O'Kelly and Sarah Chase. Seth O'Kelly died August 13, 1758 at Yarmouth, Barnstble Co., Massachusetts at the age of 58. Seth and his oldest brother John were Quakers, as the following extract shows; 1756, 5, 16. "We, John Kelly and Seth Kelly of Yarmouth, do certify that Matthew Gage doth visit our meetings and own our principles. We do earnestly desire that the assessors would omit him in the Priest's rate." Seth O'Kelly made a will in Rochester, the inventory of his estate amounted to £751, 5s 11d and was presented at the Plymouth Probate Court; 1758, 5, 16. Will, proved 1758, 9, 19. Exs., wife Mehitable and sons Seth and Richard. Witnesses, Hattol Kelly, John Cash and Seth Baker. To wife Mehitable, the improvement of all his estate in lieu of dower, and the indoor movables are to be hers to dispose of. To son Jeremiah, "six pounds, thirteen shillings and four pence after his mother's decease, or done with it." To son Seth after his mother's decease, the blacksmith shop and land adjoining, and 1/3 of cedar swamp and woodland. To son Richard after mother's decease, œ33, 6s. 8d. and meadow land. To son Wing at mother's decease, œ33, 13s. 8d. To three daughters Mehitable, Elizabeth and Sarah, œ13, 6s. 8d. each, at death of their mother; and they are to have choice of rooms in the house to dwell in. To his two youngest sons David and Elisha, the residue of estate at decease of their mother, they to provide bed and entertainment for "ministers and friends of our society."
