Ohio The Buckeye State The birthplace of seven presidents, Ohio has also made history as a major stop on the Underground Railroad and a center of space research.

Kentucky The Bluegrass State Each spring Lousiville host the country's oldest continually run horse race— the Kentucky Derby. Before the start of every race, they play "My Old Kentucky Home."

Illinois The Prairie State From baseball, comedy and blues in the Windy City to some of the country's most productive farms, the Land of Lincoln has something for everyone.

Indiana The Hoosier State More interstate highways connect in Indianapolis than in any other city. The famed Indy 500 takes place each year in Indianapolis. Racers in the 500-mile race must drive 200 times around a two-and-a-half mile oval track, after which the winner traditionally polishes off a bottle of milk.

THE FIFTH DISTRICT
Our Fifth District represents Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana & Illinois
Welcome to the Fifth District! This district is represented by Betty Meiring who hails from Indiana. She does a splendid job of managing the district. In fact, the Fifth District just celebrated it's 79th reunion last summer at the Founders Hall at Sauder Village in Archbold, Ohio.
The Fifth District has 124 members of the WFA: Ohio takes the lead with 70 WFA members Kentucky loses with 6 WFA members Indiana has 26 WFA members Illinois only has 22 WFA members We need memberships family. One of the best things you can do for your Wing family heritage is to join the Wing Family of America, Inc. We are one of the longest running family organizations of this type in the United States of America (if not the longest). Our OWL which has been published since 1898 is the oldest annual of its type in this country. A family genealogy annual that includes history as well as up-to-date information about family members. The WFA also maintains the Wing Fort House in Sandwich, MA. The oldest home in North America continuously owned by one family. It is a matter of pride, a matter of honor, a matter of family and a matter of the fact that it is a Wing Thing.
