years ago.
Mississippi
The Magnolia State
Seventy percent of
the world's
farm-raised catfish
comes from
Mississipi. The town
of Belzoni, site of
the annual World
Catfish Festival, is
known as the
"Catfish Capital of
the World."
Arkansas
The Natural State
Hot springs are natural
sources of hot water.
They are found in
places where
super-hot melted rock
called magma is just
below the surface of
the ground. The
magma heats the
springwater just like a
flame under a tea
kettle.
Louisiana
The Pelican State.
Andrew Jackson gained
national prominence for
leading the United
States to victory over
the British at the Battle
of New Orleans.
Because of poor
communications, he
didn't know that the War
of 1812 had actually
already ended!
The Sixth District represents Tennessee, Alabama,
Mississippi, Arkansas and Louisiana.

The Sixth District is represented by William H. Wing, a
descendant of Stephen Wing.

While it would seem that 5 states would be a lot to
handle, the truth of the matter is that out of these
five states there are only 20 members!!!!

Tennessee has 10 WFA members
Alabama has 3 WFA members
Mississippi has 0 WFA members
Arkansas has 6 WFA members
Louisiana has 1 WFA member

For a not so grand total of 20 members.
